Roles and responsibility for Datastage Team Lead- Tech mahindra, "MoreOptions", Hyderabad :
  • Expertise in data warehousing, Datastage ETL programming, and fulfillment of data warehouse project tasks including data extraction, cleansing, transforming and loading
  • Must be technically skilled in DataStage & Oracle/Teradata
    • Design DataStage ETL jobs for extracting data from heterogeneous source systems, transform and finally load into the Data Warehouses
    • Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Stored procedures, triggers, import, export of data
    • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the project as per the schedules
    • Manage multiple tasks & assignments as a team player with effective communication skills
    • Responsible for the deliverables
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be a self starter and able to work on a list of objectives without supervision
    • Able to guide  the team in troubleshooting and addressing production issues like bug fixing
    • Manage multiple tasks & assignments
    • Must have relevant experience working in a  production support environment & related processes
    • Troubleshooting and addressing production issues in DataStage Jobs like bug fixing, Performance Tuning and Enhancements
  • Responsible for overseeing the quality procedures related to the project
  • Work allocation and monitoring
  • Reporting project status to Customer
  • Client Communication
