The individual will need to have the following core skills and experience:
Experience and Knowledge
Should have 12 to 15 years of experience in managing large scale global projects in IT/Telecom space
Ability to present strategy, plans and propositions to senior management and business leaders
Should be thorough with Networking and telecommunications concepts
Should have up to date knowledge and awareness of telecom market, competitive scenario on service offerings in multiple geographies and should have worked with telecom providers in different regions
Should have managed a team of more than 10 experienced people
Should have worked with senior stakeholders at the board/exec level
Soft skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to create an effective project team.
Customer management skills in the event of senior level escalations
Proven skills in managing and working with complex cross-functional and cross-cultural global teams
Proven experience in interfacing with and developing customer relationships
Ability to structure and prioritise workloads and driving maximum productivity in the team
Self motivated and ready to take tough decisions on colleagues performances
Excellent written and verbal communication and Presentation skills
