Design and development of a Base Station Application software
- Integration of Application with a framework of MAC, RLC and RRC software framework
- Enhancement of MAC/RLC/RRC framework to support new features and improve performance.
- CPU and Memory optimization of the Layer2/3 framework code
- Development of UE simulator with capability of simulating hundreds of UEs for functional and load testing of LTE Layer 2/3 protocol stack without PHY
- Development of EPC simulator stub for testing of Layer 2/3 protocol stack
- Porting of Base Station Application software on baseband processing board
- Integration with EPC and PHY
Requirements for

Technical Skills:
- Strong fundamentals of layered protocol architecture with focus on Medium Access Control (MAC) and Radio Link Control (RLC)
- Knowledge of Layer 2/3 standards (MAC/RLC/RRC), particularly, LTE/ WiMAX
- Knowledge of scheduling algorithms and QoS over air interface
- Knowledge of Control Processor architectures e.g. MIPS / ARM
- Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming concepts
- Experience of designing protocol stacks similar to those of LTE/WiMAX
- Experience of working in Linux environment using IDE tools like Eclipse
