• Load testing, Feature testing, Over the air testing, Field testing and Inter-operability testing for Wimax/LTE Base Station
• Authoring test plans and test cases
• Execution of test cases and analysis of test results
• Troubleshooting and analysis
• Bug Reporting and Tracking
• Test Report Generation and preparation of training documents
• Providing training to team members
• Co-ordination with vendors
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in 24x7 environment

 Network technology/nodes/functionality

• Knowledge of telecom standards: 2G, 3G and LTE. General awareness of various access technologies, e.g. TDMA, FDMA, WCDMA, OFDMA
• Good knowledge of overall LTE architecture and functional understanding of eNodeB stacks (viz. RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC, PHY, S1AP, X2AP, GTP, SCTP)
• Hands on experience on LTE eNodeB testing, validation and IOT

• Good knowledge of LTE air interface design, physical-logical channel mapping etc.
• Hands-on Experience of tools for emulation/simulation for air-interface testing for UMTS, LTE, WiMax etc.
• Knowledge of SON (self-organizing network) in LTE

• Good knowledge of QoS classes and their application in LTE

Interface/Protocols/Algorithms

• Good understanding of LTE network interfaces – S1, X2 interface and associated protocols - SCTP, S1-AP, X2-AP, GTP-c, GTP-u, etc
• Good knowledge of IP protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP and RTP
• Good knowledge of various procedures like Ranging, Bandwidth allocation, Network entry, Link adaptation, Power control and Handovers etc
• Knowledge of basic concepts of defect, regression, test cases and test plans
• Good knowledge of FCAPS, EMS/NMS and third-party integration

Internals/Others

• Experience of various phases of testing viz. analyzing requirements specifications, testing, problem solving, defect fixing
• Experience of working on various hardware architectures, e.g. COTS, ATCA etc. General awareness of operating system and multi-threading concepts, and databases
• Sound knowledge of scripting language
